Wire

Eventually, California boyfriend!
Handsome, isn't he?
Back to crafty! I've been obsessed with wire. I did a series of bracelets and necklaces combining a couple of classic Eni techniques in one. Here's one using a beautiful Chrysocolla/Azurite cab I did from a slab I got at the Happy Valley Pow Wow last year.

BUT....I've been seeing these wild and crazy wraps at http://www.metalworkers.org/ and it talk about pushing the envelope and sci-fi looking creations! I had no idea how to start. Couldn't find anything on the net, no books, ?? So I tried on my own. Yikes! This was the result...
And then I turned back to Remy and from her absolutely amazing tutorial, and I created this. I spent countless hours, I stayed up until 3:30 am working on it, I picked it up and wrapped and wrapped even before I ate! Lol.
I think I'm hooked. I'm almost regretting the timing of my Oregon tour! Silly me. Good thing I ride, cause otherwise all I'd do is sit on my bottom doing these things...
