back and forth

My two lives. My late night/early mornings life of mad crafty energy, where my fingers itch to create and my mild mannered day life of teaching, biking, tennis and the love of my life!

Eggplant Festival 2009 and new Etsy sections!

Loomis is an adorable little town! Friendly, lovely people - we were set up in the 'wine court' and got to hear live music by talented local musicians and singers. Chatted with folks who came to browse, and we both sold things!

My new work got a lot of positive attention, but it was a bit pricey for this area. That's okay, it did make me realize I need to do all styles and levels of work. Many took business cards, and won't see anything except the Sculptural Pendants. So I'm changing the format of my Etsy site, and putting in sections for:

Sculptural Pendants
Notice the reflection on this chrysocolla cab sent to me by Desertdweller! That's my reflection on the lower left!! Grey tank top, tanned arm, and camera to my eye...wow.

Then the Eni style jewelry:

Basket Wraps:

And the Classic Wraps:

And if I really get punchy, I will do the Barbed Wire section!! Bwahahaahaha!

'Cycle17 and Overthere'

Are we cute or what? lol.

I don't have to write the entry, Cycle17 did it here if you want to read about our little vacation in Santa Cruz and the ocean a couple of weeks ago...

Oregon pics

Gal pal Carolyn and I. Carolyn had a radar for waterfalls!

Covered bridge in Oakridge, Or. My second home will be here someday!

Out of Eugene. Beautiful Christmas tree farms...

Along the coast. Beautiful and rugged. Riding was a little hairy in the rain and mack trucks along the Coastal Hwy.

Lava beds and lakes.

Overall it was 8 days, over 500 miles, and lots of food, and hot tubs. Didn't lose a pound. :wah:

But luckily no bears! Or Big Foots.

Stu did a great tour! Alan sang me over at least one mountain. Carolyn was an awesome roomie. We saw whales! Bill saved us from bunk beds. The Thompson Tandem left everyone in the dust. I only pouted mightily on one 80 mile day going to the coast, and then Steve and Stu saved me by feeding me ice cream, and then Steve kindly gave me his wheel to the motel. Karen and Don always found the best restaurants. Bruce led us through many a road to keep us from getting lost.
